Uh-oh, it sounds like the brawl between Diddy and Drake on Dec. 7, was actually months in the making. A new video has surfaced of Diddy from last June playing Drake’s song, ‘0 to 100/The Catch Up’ and saying that he actually ‘gave’ the artist the beat.
It sounds like Diddy, 45, will not be burying the hatchet with Drake, 28, anytime soon after the two got into a fight in Miami on Dec. 7. A video of Diddy has surfaced where he is playing “0 to 100/The Catch Up” during a performance in Miami Beach at Story nightclub a few months prior to the brawl where he claims that the song was “stolen” from him. Diddy & Drake’s Feud — New Video Surfaces Of Diddy Angry At Drake Months Before Brawl
Wow! Who knew that Diddy had been angry at Drake for months prior to their brawl. TMZ reports that in a new video, Diddy is seen performing in June, 2014, at Story nightclub in Miami Beach where he plays Drake’s now famous song, “0 to 100.”
In the video — Diddy does not name Drake as the artist that stole the song from him, but while the song plays in the background he tells the audience that he “gave” the beat and then the song was “stolen.”
The two ran into each other on Dec. 7, at LIV while celebrating DJ Khaled‘s birthday. Diddy then allegedly got mad and called out Drake before punching him in the shoulder — causing him to be hospitalized due to having a prior shoulder injury.

Diddy & Drake — The Reason For Their Fight
It turns out that the song was given to both artists by Boi-1Da, a hip hop producer from Drake’s hometown of Toronto, Canada. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, an insider exclusively revealed, “Boi-1DA gave both of them a song, ‘0 to100,’ Diddy hadn’t done anything with it in months and Drake decided to use it even though they both had it. It’s no wonder because it’s one of Drake’s biggest songs so of course [Diddy] is upset.”
Our source revealed that Drake went to the hospital following the punch to his shoulder because of a prior injury, “He has a history of having a shoulder issue,” our insider dished. “So when Diddy punched him in the shoulder he needed to get it checked out. He was just punched in the shoulder, not the face.”
