Plus, Jimmy mourns the death of his mother in the only way he knows how — drinking, and shutting out the one woman he loves.
Where are the twins? What will Regina (Gabourey Sidibe) do about whens he learns that Dandy (Finn Wittrock) killed her mother? And where does this leave the freak show? Luckily, we found out all of the answers to those questions on the Dec. 10 episode of American Horror Story: Freak Show.
‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’
After Ethel (Kathy Bates) was killed last week, her suicide note revealed that she had sent the twins away. However, when Ester (Jessica Lange) and Spalding (Denis O’hare) change the note, they find the girls and promise them they found the “doctor” that can separate them — ie., the hottie that Spalding hired.
But can they really grow separately? Bette (Sarah Paulson), who now looks gorgeous with blond hair, is against the splitting — but Dot wants to. So after a little convincing, we see the sensitive side of the sisters we’ve never seen.
“We deserve a chance, and I know neither of us can have that if we stay like this,” Bette says through tears. “I would rather one of us truly live, that either one of us wither away together. If it comes to it, if I had to make a choice during surgery that only one of us would live, I want to give my life to you, sister. I want o give my life so you can have one.”
Jimmy’s Lost Road
Meanwhile, Jimmy (Evan Peters) can’t stop drinking — he was even so drunk he got kicked out of the “tupperware party,” where he was hired as the male prostitute. So out he went, to continue drinking and sleeping with Ima, the Fat Lady (Chrissy Metz). At one point, Maggie (Emma Roberts) even walked in on them and slapped him (not that we blame her)!
However, it’s another woman who has fallen in love with him. The twins ran away from the doctor, ran right to to him so that Dot can confess her love to him before offering herself. Even Bette is up for it and adorably agreed to give them privacy. However, after a passionate kiss, he walked away — and admitted that he was in love with someone else.
Jimmy’s dad wasn’t feeling loved — instead, just guilty over killing Ma Petite (Jyoti Amge). Ready to hang himself, he saw Ethel, who reminded him that being a freak is who they all are — and to not keep it trapped inside, as his “freak” quality wasn’t his strength but his personal preference which he kept hidden.
He put the rope around his neck, but after falling off of the chair, Desiree (Angela Bassett) entered the room and saved him.
‘You Got A Shovel?’
Speaking of death, Dandy (Finn Wittrock) has created some fun for his own. First he chopped the head off of his mother’s friend to create the siamese twin look. Then, he headed to assassinate a whole house of women — the tupperware party — before floating their bodies in a pool of blood.
His confidence grew more than ever this episode — he admitted his killings to Regina and the police. However, after offering the cop $1 million to help him dig a hole to bury her in, the officer shots her himself. Then he asked for a shovel.
He has the police on his side now, so who gets blamed for all of those murders at the party? Well, Jimmy of course. The episode ended with him getting arrested and taken away from the freak show.
Do you think Dandy will get away with it all, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
