During this highly-anticipated semi-finals show, the Top 3 singers of ‘The Voice’ season 7 were announced. Then, in an exciting twist, 11 of the eliminated contestants returned to the stage to prove the deserved the final spot in the Top 4!
It is the ultimate second chance! After the Top 3 was announced, the previously eliminated contestants from Team Adam, Blake, Pharrell and Gwen hit the stage — who do you think deserves the last spot in the finals next week?
‘The Voice’ Top 3 Announced — 11 Singers Fight For Final Spot In Top 4
The three singers with the most votes were announced right off the bat — Chris Jamison (Team Adam), Craig Wayne Boyd (Team Blake) and Matt Mcandrew (Team Adam)!
Damien and Taylor John Williams were not automatically eliminated. They joined the rest of the 9 previously eliminated singers for a chance to be America’s wild card pick.
Team Blake — Reagan James took the stage first to prove she deserves the last spot in the Top 4. She sang “Put Your Record On” and we instantly remembered how beautiful and unique her voice was. “That was magical,” Pharrell told her.
Singing “Zombie” for her last chance in the finals was Jessie Pitts. “This girl is so important to music because she is an inventor and writer and doesn’t sound like anybody else,” Blake told America.
Team Gwen — Ryan Sill sang “Marry Me,” — um, yes, we will marry you! We almost forgot how adorable he is! He also sounded like an angel up on that stage. “I think you have such a beautiful voice,” Adam told Ryan.
Anitta Antionette hit the stage next and she sang, “Waiting On The World To Change.” Gwen was so proud of her contestant.
“Wicked Games” was the song Taylor John Williams picked for his last possible performance on The Voice stage. “I think this is an amazing opportunity to come back and I think you are going to do it,” Gwen made the bold statement after his song.
Team Adam — Damien took on the popular song “Grenade.” Pharrell told him, “You deserve to be in this competition.” Adam said, “there is one more spot in the Top 4 and it is Damien…that dude sings with so much passion…he deserves it,” his coach Adam begged America.
Team Pharrell — Sugar Jones returned to the stage to sing “Back To Black” for a chance into the finals. “You sang that perfectly beautiful,” Gwen told Sugar — we agree!
Luke Wade sang “Have A Little Faith In Me.” The judges were thrilled with his performance, they were happy to have him back on that stage.
Danica Shirey was the last singer to fight for the final spot in the finals. She sang, “Without You.” Pharrell was certain she would be voted back in!
The contestant that will be joining the Top 4 will be announced tomorrow morning on the Today Show.
