‘The Fosters’ Christmas special airs Dec. 8, and it’s a big one. The show flashes back to Jude and Callie’s first Christmas with the family, and HollywoodLife.com spoke EXCLUSIVELY to Hayden Byerly about the holiday episode!
It’s all about the memories on the Dec. 8 Christmas special of The Fosters. The show is heading back to the holiday season when Jude and Callie (Maia Mitchell) first joined the Fosters, and we’ve got all the scoop. Hayden Byerly teased to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY what to expect, including Jude getting into some trouble and your typical Foster family drama!
‘The Fosters’ Christmas Special: Callie & Jude’s First Holiday With The Family
Your first Christmas with a new family is bound to make things a little awkward. Callie and Jude are experiencing that first-hand in The Fosters special episode titled “Christmas Past.”
Hayden tells HollywoodLife.com all about how Callie and Jude are feeling in the holiday flashback.
“Callie’s feeling a little excluded since Christmas is all about family, and even though she’s considered family, she’s still not adopted and still not safely secured by the home of the Fosters,” Hayden told us. “It’s going to be a little intense for her.”
This, in turn, causes a bold reaction from Jude.
“He does some stuff that Callie’s is not proud of and later goes back to fix,” Hayden continued. “He does some stuff for Callie that is a little bit bad in the beginning, but he has good intentions.”
Whoa. We can’t wait to see what goes down!
But all in all, the focus of the show is about sharing special moments with those you hold dear.
“It’s going to feature a lot of family and holiday cheer,” Hayden said. “But also your favorite Foster family drama as well.”
The Fosters Christmas special airs Dec. 8 at 8/7c on ABC Family.
