Forget about drab black dresses! This season, it’s all about rocking bold color — just take a note from Taylor and her pal Sarah! While both stars donned colorful minis on the red carpet on the very same day, who do YOU think wore the best dress?
We can’t keep up with Taylor Swift‘s schedule! Although it feels like she just returned after performing in the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Dec. 2 in London, the star was back to her jet-setting ways as she turned up on the red carpet in London on Dec. 7 at the 02 Arena for day two of the Jingle Bell Ball. The 24-year-old songstress looked fierce in a colorful mini and so fresh-faced — how does she do it? Not only did she dominate the red carpet in her colorful get-up, but she wasn’t the only one who opted for a pretty, printed mini.
Sarah Hyland’s TrevorLIVE Dress:
While Taylor stole the show at the Jingle Bell Ball, her pal Sarah Hyland donned a similar frock when she arrived at the Hollywood Palladium on Dec. 7 for the TrevorLIVE Los Angeles benefit event. The petite star owned her sleeveless frock, which she paired with red ankle-strap pumps that elongated her frame. Her dress was youthful, flirty, and fun — and we loved it! With her blonde hair in tousled waves, the look had an effortless vibe that Sarah totally owned, as she pulled the entire ensemble together with a pop of pink on her pout.
Taylor Swift’s Jingle Bell Ball Dress:
Although Taylor opted for a bold and bright mini, her thigh-grazing dress was still totally appropriate for the winter thanks to the long-sleeved silhouette. The covered up neckline balanced out the short length, which put her endless legs on full display. She paired the Sachin & Babi embroidered dress from the Fall 2014 collection with towering black sandals, which featured two thin ankle straps. Although she’s constantly traveling the star’s style sense is still totally on point — she looked amazing! We love how she keeps it interesting on the red carpet.
Taylor’s appearance comes a day after she owned the stage at Jingle Ball in LA on Dec. 5 — she clearly shows no signs of slowing down! Even when she gets a night off she’s still out and about — and showing off her fabulous fashion sense. In fact, that’s just what she did in NYC on Dec. 4, when she arrived at The 1975 concert surrounded by some of our favorite Victoria’s Secret Angels.
We love that both these stars opted for similar printed minis — and we think it’s so great that they embraced bold color on the red carpet!
What do you think? Who donned their printed dress better?
