The royal takeover continues! For her first solo appearance, pregnant Kate Middleton joined the First Lady of New York to visit a child development center in Harlem.
Kate Middleton, 32, and Prince William, also 32, went their separate ways on Monday, Dec. 8 during their first trip to the city together. While William was meeting with President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C., Kate joined Chirlane McCray to tour a therapy center for children.
Kate Middleton & Baby Bump Join Chirlane McCray In Harlem
How cool is this?
Mayor of New York City Bill de Blasio‘s wife, Chirlane McCray, was on hand to greet Duchess Kate as she arrived in Harlem for the very first time.
Kate kept her baby bump covered and warm in a loose-fitting black wool coat, and she was all smiles as she waved to the waiting crowd upon getting out of her vehicle.
For their first appearance together, Kate and Chirlane spent time at the Northside Center for Child Development, which offers therapy, counseling, psycho-educational and many other important services for children and families.
Sadly, Kate left her son, Prince George, behind for her and Willam’s trip to NYC. Maybe next time, little guy!
