‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ picks right up after Kenya’s breakdown, and this week, she’s in much better spirits, but the drama is still real.
“When it comes to these other girls, I have her back no matter what,” Claudia says about her bestie Kenya Moore. It’s great to see that the new housewife is such a good friend because with all of the Apollo Nida business on the RHOA, Kenya really needs it — especially because all of the ladies get together for dinner on the Dec. 7 episode.
‘RHOA’ Recap: Being Winos Shows That We’re Real Friends
Kenya shows up to Claudia‘s new apartment in Atlanta for a little meet and greet that’s not quite up to her high-life standards — the furniture (or glasses) haven’t been delivered yet.
“We are drinking wine out of a plastic red cup,” Kenya laughs. “That shows that we’re real friends, Kenya,” Claudia says, to which Kenya answers, “I think it shows that were real winos.”
Regardless, Claudia tells Kenya that she’s her ride-or-die girl, and she’ll be her friend no matter what all the other ladies are saying.
The other lady that’s on Team Kenya is Cynthia Bailey, and it’s safe to say she’s still not on Team NeNe.
“I finally just got fed up with the self-centered shine of NeNe Leakes,” she tells Peter and her family. “I owe NeNe nothing. She will never get nothing from me.”
Phaedra Parks Vs. Kenya Moore: ‘I Don’t Believe It’
“He’s acting as if nothing’s changed and he doesn’t have this huge sentence over his head,” Phaedra said. “He’s still partying and having a good time.”
She also still has no interest in making up with Kenya.
“Apollo has never said or admitted to me that he lied about Kenya,” Phaedra said. “So I don’t believe it.”
Kandi tells her that she “bust of crying” when they worked out together, and insists that all of the ladies should get together and try to work things out. (Ha.)
The Atlanta Housewives Get Together For Dinner
Phaedra is the first to show up to Kandi’s dinner, and says a prayer before the rest of the ladies come — and part of that prayer is about not being a whore.
Cynthia is next to show up. So far, so good.
But then, Kenya arrives. And then Porsha Williams shows up, decked in Alexander McQueen. Cynthia points out that she’s being funded by the “African prince.” (I’m cringing, as I write.)
Last but not last, NeNe sits down, pointing out that Phaedra is wearing white because she’s pure.
“I told you all…I want us to smooth things over so we can move forward,” Kandi announces.
And silence. Until Kenya starts to speak.
If you drink like a fish, you’re an alcoholic. If your mood swings swing from day to night, you might be bipolar,” Phaedra tells the camera. “I didn’t start the rumor — her behavior started the rumor.”
Then she calls Kenya a slut and they “clear the slate,” but let’s be honest, it’s far from clear.
NeNe & Cynthia Come To Blows
Next up? Cynthia and NeNe. And there’s no chance of reconciliation. NeNe screams her head off to Cynthia. “I’m dumb. Not you because I actually thought you were a real f***ing friend…and I loved you like a f***ing sister.”
Ouch. Until next week…?
HollywoodLifers, do you think that the housewives can ever make up with each other or will they just keep fighting?
