Nicki Minaj is on fire. Not only did she impersonate Kim Kardashian, but she took on Beyonce for a nativity scene sketch! Click to WATCH the hilarious skit, which includes a cameo from Justin Bieber (sort of)!
Impersonating Beyonce is not an easy feat, but Nicki Minaj did a terrific and hilarious job on the Dec. 6 episode of Saturday Night Live. During the show’s Jingle Ballerz holiday special, Nicki impersonated Beyonce as the Virgin Mary for the nativity skit, and Justin Bieber (Kate McKinnon) was her Joseph! Plus, many more top artists showed up with hilarious roles.
Nicki Minaj’s Beyonce Impression On ‘Saturday Night Live’
Nicki, as Queen Bey, donned a cleavage-revealing outfit, fur coat and Bey’s perfect hair for the nativity scene sketch. “No, no, no. This moment is not about me. Let everybody have their moment,” she said, clearly referencing to Kanye West’s Taylor Swift diss at the 2009 VMAs.
“This moment is about my baby boy. Behold,” she said about baby Jesus. She also sang, “He woke up like this! Flawless.”
In the midst of Beyonce’s Virgin Mary speech, her main man Justin was making us laugh from behind. Kate McKinnon is an absolute dream as JB. Her impression of the “Baby” singer is spot-on.
While we love Beyonce and Jay Z, talk about a power couple Beyonce and Justin would be! Cue all the laughs.
The skit also featured Kanye (Jay Pharoah) as baby Jesus, Rihanna (Sasheer Zamata) as the narrator, with Eminem (Taran Killam), Riff Raff (James Franco) and Rick Ross (Kenan Thompson) as the three wise men.
Nicki may have only been a musical guest on Saturday Night Live, but she was a main star of the show! She also hit up Weekend Update to mock Kim Kardashian’s Paper magazine pics.
According to this Kim, the naked pics were “misinterpreted” because they didn’t have the right backgrounds! Her oily butt pics was meant to be a warning about the Keystone Pipeline, while her full-frontal pic was supposed to be a “Hanukkah card for her Jewish Friends.” Too funny!
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Nicki’s Beyonce impression? Totally awesome or not at all? Let us know!
