Malia, 16, and Sasha, 13, flashed their sparkling smiles at the National Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 4. Both teens girls looked upbeat — a drastic change from their seemingly bored looks at the annual Thanksgiving address on Nov. 27!
Malia Obama, 16, and Sasha Obama, 13, beamed as their dad lit the National Christmas Tree outside the White House on Dec. 4. Indeed, both of President Obama‘s girls appeared super eager to celebrate Christmas — we wonder what former GOP staffer Elizabeth Lauten will have to say now!
Sasha & Malia Obama At National Christmas Tree Lighting: Girls Don’t Look Bored
The nation was watching Sasha and Malia’s body language and expressions closely at the 92nd Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree, just steps from the White House, according to the Daily Mail.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the spotlight has been on the President’s daughters after they were attacked by a GOP staffer, Elizabeth Lauten, for having “classless” attitudes and outfits during Obama’s annual Thanksgiving address.
The former media director for the Republican National Committee verbally attacked everything from Malia and Sasha’s wardrobe choices to their seemingly uninterested attitudes during their father’s televised address.
Sasha & Malia Shine Bright At The Christmas Lighting
On Dec. 1, Elizabeth resigned after her comments about Malia and Sasha and now it seems like she will be eating her words as Sasha and Malia were equal parts chic and classy on Dec. 4.
We love how Malia paired a festive scarf with a neutral gray coat and we can’t get enough of Sasha’s signature topknot.
Above all, the best accessories for both girls: their beautiful smiles!
