Following the shocking penultimate episode of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ on Dec. 2, we’re left wondering where Jax will end up — and according to Katey Sagal, it doesn’t look so good.
During the heart-wrenching Sons of Anarchy episode, Jax (Charlie Hunnam) once again made some life-changing decisions, and we’re not quite sure he can nor wants to live with them. So, what will happen on next week’s series finale? Attention: spoilers ahead.
‘Sons of Anarchy’: Will Jax Die In The Finale?
Hopefully you watched the Dec. 2 episode, Red Roses, before reading — but if not, you’re about to get spoiled! Jax finally got the revenge he needed after Tara’s death by pulling the trigger on his mother and taking out Gemma for good.
However, she was ready to die — and it seems like he is too. But is it really the way the show should end? And does he deserve to?
“I think the bigger question should be can he tolerate living in this world that he created?” Katey Sagal told People. “I don’t know if it’s about deserving it from those around him. It’s the struggle within himself. Now that the truth is out, the carnage and all the horrible repercussions of that lie (Gemma killing Tara, not a rival gang) were really at the hand of Jax. He took that lie and ran with it. Jax is the one with a conscience. Once he lost Tara, who was his moral compass, he veered left.”
Jax: Is He Ready To Die?
In the episode, we saw that Jax sat down with the Presidents and in more or less words, pretty much agreed that it was his time to die after what he had done to Jury, and the club over all.
In a way, he appeared to find peace with it (if a certain bylaw gets thrown out which we’re still in the dark about). So, is it time? Will he be killed or take his own life in the series finale? Let us know what you think will and should happen, HollywoodLifers?
