Miss Sharon Dead — Todd Tucker’s Mother Passes Away
According to Us Weekly, after Miss Sharon suffered from the stroke she called Todd — who was in Atlanta — from New York to inform him of the situation. When Todd arrived at the hospital, Miss Sharon was reportedly unconscious and later slipped into a coma before passing away the following day.
On Dec. 2, Todd posted a beautiful picture of him with his mother on Instagram with a touching and heartfelt message announcing that she had passed away.
“Today I lost my partner, my ride or die my best friend! I don’t know what to do? I’m lost! My heart hurts so much! She was a fighter, a warrior for her son! It was me and her against the world! She’s in a better place!! Mom I love you to death! Rest in peace!”
Miss Sharon was known on the show for fighting with Todd’s wife, Kandi Burruss‘s mother, Mama Joyce on the newlywed’s spinoff that chronicled their journey to walking down the aisle. She and Todd were extremely close and it was very evident that she loved her son very much and was always willing to stick up for him.
Kandi also paid tribute to her husband’s late mother on Instagram by posting a picture of the three of them together.
“Today has been a tough day. Our family has suffered a terrible loss. Sharon was the best mother in-law! She was fun, energetic, loving, & caring. I loved how she liked to get up & go all the time. She would get you in check one minute & give you a hug the next minute. She still had a young spirit. It’s unbelievable that she’s gone. I’m so sad for @todd167 because they were so close… He talked to her every morning & all thru out.”
Our thoughts go out to Miss Sharon’s loved ones during this extremely sad time.
