‘The Voice’ is only weeks away from its grand finale and according to Adam Levine, the talent is more impressive than ever. HollywoodLife.com spoke to the coach who was literally left speechless when he was raving over the singers — minus a few curse words!
Adam Levine has been a coach on The Voice since the very first season, and he’s still mesmerized by the talent the show has to offer. Read on to see what Adam has to say about the Top 8, plus, we’ve got an EXCLUSIVE interview with the latest contestant voted off, Anita Antoinette.
‘The Voice’: Adam Levine Blown Away By The Top 8
The Top 8 brought their A-game to the live shows on Dec. 1, proving Season 7 is going to be a tough one to win. Coach Adam spoke backstage with HollywoodLife.com, telling us all about the serious talent taking over the stage.
“I’m always impressed by these people on the show, and I feel like over time, they get more and more impressive,” Adam exclusively told us. “So I keep saying, ‘This was the best thing ever’ because it keeps becoming the best thing ever. I don’t know. I’m always happy with the performances. Sh*t. I don’t know what the f**k to say anymore. I’m out of words, guys.”
Adam left speechless? These guys must be good.
Anita Antoinette Interview: Singer Cut From The Top 10
While Adam is impressed with the singers, someone he’s sure to miss is team Gwen Stefani‘s Anita Antoinette who was sent home on the Nov. 25 show. We chatted with the contestant, after she was eliminated, and she told us that she actually expected to be voted off.
“I knew, and I was pretty much ready for it to happen,” Anita told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “I think my soul was wanting to to happen. I know that sounds really weird but I was starting to lose my self a little bit, I wasn’t cheery and happy and smiling. I just got stressed out about it. When you are not having 100% fun you can almost sense what is going to happen. I just lost myself really and I woke up this morning and was really happy!”
Well, we’re glad Anita isn’t too upset about being cut, but we were sad to see her go!
HollywoodLifers, who do you think will be sent home tonight on the Dec. 2 elimination show? Were you sad to see Anita go? Do you agree with Adam that these singers are seriously impressive? Let us know!
