Selena Gomez posted an Instagram photo early on Dec. 2, showing her recording! She even included the hashtag #2015 — can we expect a new album to drop in the new year?
The holidays came early, Selenators! Selena Gomez teased her fans with a new message, telling us how excited she is for what’s “coming next” and by looks of her photo, it’s new music!
Selena Gomez Teases New Music On Instagram
After the huge success of Selena‘s new hit “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” she knows exactly what her fans want — new music!
Well, it looks like we can start counting down, according to Sel’s Dec. 2 Instagram pic, which shows her recording something. Of course, Selena could be recording a voiceover for a movie perhaps, but the caption is even more telling that new tunes are coming soon.
“What the next 4 months will look like. Even in my hotel rooms,” Selena wrote. “You guys, I’m beyond excited for what’s next. #2015”
Four months is a long time (too long for a voiceover gig), but sounds like the perfect amount of time to record a new album. If you’re keeping track, that means brand new music could be coming as soon as March!
Every true Selenator knows just how dedicated Selena is to her music — after all, she did pour her heart and soul into “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” and delivered one of the most emotional and beautiful performances we’ve ever seen, debuting the hit on television at the 2014 AMAs. She was so invested in the music that she even shed a few tears.
Selena Gomez Releases New Songs: ‘Do It’ & ‘Dilemma 2.0’
Selena has released three new songs all in the past month — that’s a lot! — so it definitely appears that she’s interested in recording lately.
“Do It” talks all about, well, doing it, and in “Dilemma 2.0,” she talks about an up-and-down relationship. We’re thinking it’s about Justin Bieber, especially since Selena confirmed herself, in an interview On Air with Ryan Seacrest, that “The Heart Wants What It Wants” is all about Justin.
HollywoodLifers, are you crossing your fingers and your toes for a new Selena Gomez album? Let us know if you’re freaking out (like us)!
