Miranda Lambert is always on fire, and on Dec. 2, it was no different! The singer hit the stage for an amazing performance during the CMT Artists of the Year show — a perfect title for her, if you ask us! Did you love her performance?
It’s no surprise that Miranda Lambert was one of five musicians honored at the fifth annual CMT Artists of the Year show, and we couldn’t wait for her to perform at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Dec. 2! She looked stunning as always in a white fit-and-flare dress, but we were totally blown away by her vocals when she sang her hit “Holding on to You.”
Miranda Lambert’s CMT Artists Of The Year Performance — Wows With ‘Holding On To You’
Miranda’s performance was so beautiful — she really has the voice of an angel! She took the stage to sing her super romantic ballad “Holding on to You” and the whole crowd was in awe! Even Nicole Kidman was singing along!
Each honoree of the night was chosen not just for their talent but also for their ability to “make music on their own terms.” So not only did they perform but they also shared their story about how they got to where they are today. Which, for Miranda, is pretty much at the top!
Not only is she a superstar, but she’s also married to another huge singer — Blake Shelton. Unfortunately, her country star hubby couldn’t be there as he was busy judging one of The Voice‘s live shows. Talk about an accomplished power couple!
The other four honorees of the night were Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban and Jason Aldean. Unfortunately, Luke could not be there due to the sudden passing of his brother-in-law, but FGL, Keith and Jason also performed on the big stage.
HollywoodLifers, did YOU enjoy Miranda’s performance? Let us know!
