The star has made her comeback in a big way and has come out with an over-the-top, Kawaii-filled music video that stays true to her Harujuku-loving roots!
Gwen Stefani is officially back! After a pretty long hiatus from making her own music, she’s dropped the insane video on Dec. 1 to go with her newest single ‘Spark The Fire’. She collaborated with close friend and fellow ‘Voice’ judge , Pharrell Williams, in the release of what can only be described as an insane emoji trip! Watch it right here!
Gwen Stefani & Pharrell Williams Join Voices For ‘Spark The Fire’ Music Video
We don’t want to give too much away in her newest music video, but let us just say this –we’re so glad to see Gwen back! The video is filled with some pretty weird scenes. You’ll see Gwen riding in on a cutesy cloud, bursts of smiling hamburgers, and even a chain of Pharrell faces circling a dancing Gwen!
Don’t be put off by the creepiness though — it’s probably one of the most upbeats tracks we’ve heard in a while! Pharell even went so far as to call the song a ‘feminist anthem’.
‘The Voice’: Gwen and Pharrell Perform ‘Spark The Fire’ LIVE!
Gwen and Pharrell performed the track on stage at the set of The Voice on Dec. 1 and it was just as explosive as the video was. If the music video doesn’t fulfill your Gwen fix of the day, we suggest you check out the live performance by clicking right here! It all goes down in the second half of the show and you see the cartoony set from the video come to life!
We’re thrilled that the 45-year-old is just as wild as ever but we want to know what you think of the video, Hollywood Lifers! Love it or loathe it? Is Gwen trying to hard to hold onto her former style? Let us know!
