The fall finale of ‘Chicago Fire’ looks like it will be hot, hot, hot. After Casey saw Dawson and Mills reconnect, the Dec. 2 episode will only make things more awkward between our favorite couple. Luckily, the co-creator has given us a tiny spoiler!
Dawson (Monica Raymund) has hit a rough patch with Casey (Jesse Spencer) and turning to Mills (Charlie Barnett) may have been her worst decision ever. But will Mills actually pull apart #Dawsey?
‘Chicago Fire’ Fall Finale
The fall finale is ironically titled “Santa Bites,” and we’ve got a feeling, it really will, especially for the lovers on the show. We know that Boden’s wife will be going into labor and approach complications and that Casey and Dawson have hit some bumps in their relationship. But how bad is it?
“Right now, let’s just hope they make it to Christmas,” Chicago Fire‘s co-creator Derek Haas said during a Twitter Q&A on Nov. 26 after a fan asked if we could expect a wedding. Ouch! He was also asked if the couple could survive it all, and he wrote, “Magic 8 ball says ‘Trouble Ahead.'”
Alright, this doesn’t sound so good!
Will Mills Be The Reason?
However, it’s not exactly Mills’ fault. Sure they had a drink together after she and Casey got into a fight but it looked much worse than it was when Casey walked into Molly’s.
On Nov. 30, Derek was asked. “What was mills thinking? Does he want to be on the receiving end of
#TheWrathOfCasey?” However, the co-creator revealed that “Mills wasn’t and doesn’t.”
Well, we’re glad because Mills and Dawson we’re cute but they were no Casey and Dawson! What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Will Casey and Dawson break up or will they make it through to Christmas?
