There’s a new housewife in town! Claudia Jordan is longtime friends with Kenya, she’s already becoming frenemies with Porsha and she’s drop dead gorgeous. Sounds like a recipe for another ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ cat-fight.
The ladies take Phaedra Parks out for a girls’ spa day to get her mind off of her estranged husband Apollo Nida who admits he’s at his “lowest point,” and guess who’s not invited? Kenya Moore. Well, Kenya ends up hitting her breaking point with all of the drama and cries in front of Kandi Burruss — it gets so nasty that she pushes the cameras out of her way. Read on for your full RHOA Nov. 30 recap!
Porsha Throws Shades At The New Housewife Claudia Jordan
New housewife Claudia doesn’t even know what she’s in for in Atlanta. Luck would have it that Claudia’s radio show is taped in the same building of Porsha’s new gig, Dish Nation. Of course, Porsha has a field day telling herself that Claudia has a face for radio. (That couldn’t be more false, by the way. The woman is drop-dead gorgeous.)
“I saw you on Dish Nation last night. Real cute,” Claudia compliments Porsha, as she pays her a visit in the makeup room. Porsha doesn’t even respond. Literally no words.
“The shade is evident!” Claudia says. “What have I done?”
Oh, girl. You’re friends with Kenya. That’s what you’ve done.
Speaking of, Kenya and Cynthia go shopping with Claudia and it looks like these ladies are Atlanta’s finest new clique. “I have to admit, I’m quite intrigued by Miss Claudia Jordan,” Cynthia says.
The fabulous threesome talk about (what else?) Porsha. Claudia reveals that she’s been the victim of some serious shade at work, and Kenya actually advises her to try to make nice with Porsha. “Just go into it, be your sweet self,” Kenya says. “Let them see the sweet side, and if you have to bring out the sour, than you have no choice but to.”
Don’t get too excited. Kenya isn’t actually advising anyone to think highly of Porsha. “I think there’s always a chance to resolve difference between two women who are capable of independent thinking, but if one doesn’t have a brain and one does, I’m not sure how that works.”
Turns out, Claudia ends up asking Porsha to lunch two talk things out and Porsha insists that nothing is personal between them two, but she’s not budging on ever making up with Kenya. Never, ever, ever.
NeNe Never Wants To Be Friends With Cynthia
Remember when spa days were supposed to be relaxing? Well, when the spa is set on RHOA, it’s anything but that. Kandi, Porsha and NeNe take Phaedra out for a girls’ day so that she can relax in the midst of her Apollo drama.
First off, Porsha throws a jab at Cynthia, saying that she got some serious botox.
Second, NeNe says that she’s dunzo with Cynthia who’s cozied up to Kenya of all people. “When we first stopped talking, I missed her…but now I’m just over it,” NeNe admits. “I promise you, I have no hate for her or her afro at all.” Um, ouch.
Then, the ladies start talking about Kenya and Kandi vouches for her, pointing out that her name was cleared after Apollo’s confession. Well, the other ladies aren’t buying it. “Oh please!” NeNe shouts. “I don’t believe it for one second!”
But what about Phaedra? “I’m not sure what to believe so Kenya will remain where she always has: at the bottom of my to-do list.”
Kenya Hits Her Breaking Point & Cries After The Apollo Scandal
Kenya and Kandi haven’t spent much time together lately, but they finally meet up for an exercise class together and they let out a lot more than sweat.
Kandi confesses that she didn’t fully believe Kenya with the entire Apollo situation, and Kenya takes serious offense to that. “When those lies were all around, I was like, this is crazy,” she sayd. Kandi tells her not to “take it to heart,” but still, she breaks down in tears.
“The man just confessed that everything was a lie, and then you’re going to sit up and still throw dirt on me?! I’m sick of it!”
The episode closes with Kenya pushing the cameras out of the way, and she continues to cry.
HollywoodLifers, where do you stand in this whole mess? Do you feel bad for Kenya or do you still think that she was involved with Apollo?
