Rumors have been buzzing for awhile that Rihanna, 26, is releasing her eighth studio album in the near future. Though Rihanna has shut down the rumors, she left us hanging even more when she dropped a sweet surprise on Nov. 25, which makes us think her album will drop sooner rather than later! The “S&M” singer took to Instagram and released a short clip of a new song, and it’s by far her edgiest sound yet.
Rihanna New Song Preview: Snippet Released From Eighth Album
Dash Radio’s DJ Skee spilled the beans that Rihanna’s eighth studio album will drop in early 2015, according to Just Jared. Rihanna was not happy withe DJ Skee, and put him in his place! She tweeted:

Shortly after, she released a teaser of the new song that she has been working on, which she posted on Instagram.
We love the edgy sound of RiRi’s new song! She’s always one to keep fans on their feet, as she’s tackled many different styles of music, but this track seems to one of her darkest yet. We can’t wait to hear the song in full!
Rihanna Interview — How She Feels About Collaborations
HollywoodLife.com caught up with Rihanna at the MAC cosmetics world premiere of It’s Not Over in Los Angeles on Nov. 18. There, Rihanna shared how much she loves collaborating with other artists, and not just in the music industry!
“I love collaborations, as you can see. I’m here tonight for MAC, another collaboration of mine which I did for charity this time,” Rihanna told us. “We’re here tonight for the premiere of It’s Not Over, a documentary which is going to educate a lot of young people on how HIV and AIDS are affecting us, so it’s important.”
