Apollo’s eight year prison sentence is now underway and he’s feeling miserable, especially since he misses his two precious children. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned he’s desperate for a chance to see them!
Prison isn’t appealing and Apollo Nida is trying his best to adjust to that fact. Phaedra Parks‘ soon-to-be ex-husband is hating his life behind bars and is desperately begging friends and Phaedra for the opportunity to see his two sons again, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
Phaedra Parks & Apollo Nida — He Wants To See His Kids In Jail
Apollo has had some communication with some of his former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars, specifically Cynthia Bailey‘s husband, Peter Thomas, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. When Apollo and Peter speak, however, Apollo just inquires about his sons, Dylan and Ayden.
“[Apollo] asked Peter to tell his children that their father loves them and that he can’t wait to be home one day and play football with them,” our source explains. “He got a little chocked up on the phone and told Peter to make sure he tells his boys that because Phaedra won’t bring them there and she doesn’t pick up the phone.”
Apollo told Peter, “I miss my children, man. I’ll do anything to see them, anything. I just want to see my sons.”
Apollo Nida Thinks Phaedra Parks Gave Up On Him
In case you’re wondering if Apollo asks about his estranged wife, think again. The convicted felon believes Phaedra gave up on him and he questions if she really loved him to begin with.
“He tells Peter how he feels she didn’t stick by him and let him self destruct,” our source continues. “He says all that negative sh** and Peter just listens, shaking his head.”
Our source goes on, telling HollywoodLife.com that Peter is caught between a rock and a hard place because he “knows Apollo doesn’t really have anyone else to talk to and wants to be a good friend to him. “But the s*** Apollo says about Phaedra — how she’s no good and how she gave up on him and only wanted him because he’s fine and can f*** her good — it’s just crazy to hear this man talk about the mother of his children that way.”
