Sting had never stepped inside a World Wrestling Entertainment ring before he made his debut at the 2014 Survivor Series in St. Louis on Nov. 23! It was moment we’ll never forget.
Sting’s WWE Debut At Survivor Series — Wrestling Icon Decks Triple H
At the climax of the Survivor Series main event — Team Cena vs. Team Authority — Triple H assaulted Dolph Ziggler and propped Seth Rollins on top of him to win the match. It looked like it was about to be an unfair ending, but then a new ref ran to the ring. And then Sting followed closely behind.
The audience went wild for Sting’s intervention. He walked to the ring, knocked the ref out, and faced off with Triple H.
After a pretty intense stare-down, Sting decked Triple H with a Scorpion Death Drop. He then walked over and put Dolph’s body over Seth’s, leading a referee to hand Team Cena the win over Team Authority!
Sting Vs. Triple H At WrestleMania 31?
This defeat is huge news! Not only does it mean that Team Authority is dunzo, but it also means that Sting will likely end up fighting Triple H at WrestleMania 31.
We have to admit — it was so great to finally see Sting in WWE after all these years. And it was a spectacular way to end the Survivor Series show!
