Fifth Harmony is ringing in the holidays with another Christmas classic! The ladies recorded a Spanish version of ‘Silent Night’ as part of Epic Records’ new EP ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas,’ and it was absolutely beautiful. Listen to the amazing cover here!
Fifth Harmony put their harmonizing talents together once again for their new Christmas song “Noche De Paz,” and it might just be our favorite cover yet. Not only is it amazing that the group covered a stripped down version of “Silent Night,” but it’s also incredible that they channeled their Spanish speaking talents into it, too! The song was released on Nov. 24 as part of Epic Records EP, which also includes hits from other of our favorite artists including Meghan Trainor and Sara Bareilles.
Fifth Harmony’s New Christmas Song: ‘Noche De Paz’ Released By Band
“Silent Night” is an emotionally powerful song, and we think the ladies definitely did the song justice. It’s so cool that the Spanish-speaking girl group chose to cover the song in Spanish, as it adds that much more depth to the beautiful song. Fifth Harmony has covered other songs in Spanish as well, but this was by far their best.
The song itself is focused completely on the girls’ dynamic voices. The stripped down cover has soft piano in the background, but it’s mainly the girls’ harmonizing vocals that makes this cover so interesting. They always carry such emotion when they sing!
Fifth Harmony Covers Mariah Carey
As if “Silent Night” in Spanish isn’t a difficult cover, the girls also took on Mariah Carey‘s Christmas classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” They hit all of the high notes in the fun, energy-filled cover and we can’t get the song out of our heads! (You can listen to the song here!)
They once again put their own spin on a classic song instead of just singing a straight cover of it. It’s so hard to tell which version we like better, theirs of Mariah’s!
