So disturbing. Last year, director Eli Roth said he worked with Lana Del Rey and Marilyn Manson on a video that was ‘so sick it has been locked in a vault for over a year.’ On Nov. 20, a clip purportedly matching that description leaked online.
In 2013, Eli Roth, the director of Hostel and Grindhouse, allegedly directed a video for Marilyn Manson that featured Lana Del Rey in a rape scene. Apparently, because the footage was “so sick,” it was “locked in a vault for over a year,” Eli told Larry King. The video has since made its way onto YouTube.
Lana Del Rey: Raped In Eli Roth Video For Marilyn Manson — Clip Leaks Online
In one 27-second scene, Lana Del Rey is violently sexually assaulted, according to Huffington Post. And the word “RAPE” allegedly appears on balloons in a horrifically decorated birthday party.
At this time, the video appears to have been taken down by YouTube. Marilyn’s reps also told Pitchfork that the footage, which was shot last year, was not part of a music video or a specific Marilyn-related project.
“Manson did not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage made by him or to be used by him with his music,” his rep said.
