Justin, you’ve had a hell of a few years. From the highest highs to some very low lows, it wouldn’t be surprising if the craziness of your life is finally catching up with you and you’re feeling down. If you are, as HollywoodLife.com sources say, then please do yourself a favor and get help.
Justin Bieber, you’ve reportedly settled into a spiritual retreat for two weeks in Rancho Mirage, Calif., on a “mission” to learn how to spread the word of God.
Justin Bieber’s Depression: If You Are Depressed, Please Get Help
“Bieber has exiled himself from friends, alcohol, weed and everything else that doesn’t involve the good Lord,” according to TMZ.
Now HollywoodLife.com has learned that you’ve been feeling lost and “empty” without Selena Gomez, 22, and that you’re “struggling with depression.”
That could absolutely be the reason that you’re seeking guidance and solace in Rancho Mirage.
“He’s questioning everything about his life right now. Even though he’s got millions in the bank, he’s feeling empty and struggling with depression and worthlessness,” a source close to you tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Part of this was brought on by his breakup with Selena. He always felt like he could fall back on that relationship.”
Justin, it’s not the least bit surprising that you might be feeling a little lost now. Think of how your life has changed so dramatically in the past six or seven years.
You went from being a musically talented thirteen year old playing on the streets of your hometown of Stratford, Ontario, to being a world famous pop star who’s worked literally nonstop until a year ago.
Justin, you spent years in recording studios and on world tours. Your every day was programmed and packed to the max, from the moment you woke up until you went to bed.
And cracks in your perfect image began to appear. How could they not? What nineteen or twenty year old could have handled the pressure you’d been under for so long?
It wasn’t surprising that you indulged in some acting out, from peeing in a restaurant mop bucket to allegedly egging your neighbor’s house.
Justin Bieber: You’ve Been Through A lot
But after experiencing all you’ve been through, it would be a rare young person that didn’t lapse into some feelings of depression. There’s just been so much to process.
That’s why it’s wonderful that you’re taking a break and reportedly looking for guidance from God and a pastor who’s close to you.
But it would also be a great idea to start talking to a psychologist or psychiatrist too. A professional who is trained in treating depression can really help you work through your pain and get to the heart of the issues that are making you unhappy.
“Justin’s most likely very overwhelmed with his stardom at such a young age,” says psychologist Steven Orenstein, who warns that if you don’t get “treatment,” Justin, your depression won’t get any better.
Justin, you deserve to enjoy your talent, your success and your fame. You also deserve to find love.
So give yourself the best chance at all this by getting counseling along with spiritual guidance. Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Should Justin seek counseling if he’s feeling depressed? Let me know.
