Selena Gomez has played ‘the game’ long enough — and she’s ready to move forward! That’s the message she’s sending with her new Instagram picture, at least. Has she finally moved on from Justin Bieber for good?
Justin Bieber has been trying everything he can to win back Selena Gomez, but it doesn’t look like it’s working! She shared an emotional quote on Nov. 17 that said she was done competing with others and that she has “no desire to play the game.” Uh oh, Justin!
Selena Gomez Moving On From Justin Bieber?
“I am in competition with no one. I have no desire to play the game of being better than anyone. I am simply trying to be better than the person I was yesterday,” Selena posted on Instagram.
Now this was only one day after she went on a date with her Wizards of Waverly Place costar, David Henrie — but even that was to send a message to Justin.
“Selena could have kept this dinner quiet but she wanted Justin to know about it,” a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She knows Justin is always jealous when she hangs out with David and she knows it gets to him. She’s just friends with David but Justin thinks they hook-up, so she’s trying to mess with his head. She went somewhere she knew she’d get photographed and she put a video on Instagram, that was all for Justin.”
Justin Can’t Get Selena Back
Meanwhile, she’s not the only one doing her own thing to get someone else’s attention — Justin is doing the same thing!
“Justin is under the assumption that if he completely ignores Selena and blows her off, she will come running,” a source close to Justin told us exclusively. So far, nothing else has worked — sending flowers, trying to be ultra sweet, and going to bible study. It’s like the more he tries to impress Selena, the more she avoids him. So he figured he would go back to what has worked in the past — ignore her, flirt with hot girls and act like he doesn’t care. That’s the real reason he stopped following her on Instagram.”
Well, that’s not the best way to get to a girl’s heart — but who knows, it could work? I guess? What do you think, HollywoodLifers?
