It’s been 13 years since we were introduced to Joe Dirt, and David Spade has now proven that years later, he can still rock the famous mullet and horrendous facial hair. The actor recently shared a pic from the first day of shooting the sequel — see it here!
Filming for Joe Dirt 2 has begun, and David Spade has taken to Instagram to prove that he looks as good as ever with a mullet and extreme facial hair. The 50-year-old actor, who is reprising his role as Joe Dirt, 13 years after the original film, posted a picture on the first day of shooting the sequel!

‘Joe Dirt 2’: David Spade Teases Start Of Production On Sequel
The comedian also teased the start of production in Louisiana by posting a photo of his dog laying in bed on Nov. 16.
“Here is me laying in bed thinking about the first day of shooting tomorrow. And snausages. #scared,” he captioned the shot.
We have to admit — we’re a bit surprised a sequel is even being made. The original film, released in 2001, made an estimated $30 million from a $17.7 million budget. Perhaps the sequel, which will hit theaters sometime next year, will draw a bigger crowd to the theaters!
