Get ready, fans of post-apocalyptic action dramas (so, everyone). The trailer for the sequel to ‘Divergent’ is officially here! Check out the first look at ‘Insurgent’ and freak out right along with us!

Less than a year following the release of Divergent, we have our very first trailer for its sequel, InsurgentShailene Woodley, 22, and Theo James, 29, reprise their roles as Tris and Four, respectively; the two are now on the run following their takedown of Jeanine (Kate Winslet) and the Erudites’ plan to abolish every member of Abnegation using the Dauntless as their brainwashed soldiers. Check out the action-packed trailer for Insurgent!

‘Insurgent’ Trailer: Shailene Woodley Kicks Ass In ‘Divergent’ Sequel — Watch

“The world will never be the same” is the message flashed on the screen in between quick cuts of Tris (rocking a fierce pixie cut, by the way) in a pretty intense action sequence that is reminiscent of the fear landscapes we saw in Divergent.

Considering that her mother, Natalie (Ashley Judd), features in the trailer, we can only imagine that there’s a little more here than meets the eye; Tris watched her mother die in the previous installment.

In Insurgent, unrest among the factions grows as Tris and Four attempt to rally members of rival factions to their cause; however, traitors are everywhere and are all too willing to do whatever it takes to maintain the existing social order.

‘Divergent’: Star Miles Teller Said That Filming Made Him Feel ‘Dead Inside’

As is the custom with post-apocalyptic action dramas, the Divergent series is being pumped out as quickly as its cousins The Maze Runner and The Hunger Games; filming began in May in Atlanta, and wrapped in September. With a March release, it’s a pretty quick turnaround!

Along with Theo, Shailene, and Kate, Ansel ElgortZoe KravitzMaggie QMiles Teller, and more favorites from Divergent will be reprising their roles.

(Even Miles, who said that the film series made him feel “dead inside.” Um, we’ll take your place, dude.)

Insurgent hits theaters on March 20, 2015.

So, HollywoodLifers, will you be checking out Insurgent when it hits theaters? Let us know! (Also, what faction do you belong in?! The quiz tells me I’m an Erudite. Sad face.)
