So shocking! Blake has allegedly been charged with a crime for beating up a man inside a Las Vegas nightclub, according to a new report. Find out all the details!
Blake Griffin, 25, has been formally charged with battery, stemming from a Las Vegas fight that went down last month at Tao nightclub, according to a shocking new report. The NBA star faces six months in prison and/or a $1,000 fine!
Blake Griffin Charged With Battery After Las Vegas Nightclub Brawl
Blake reportedly beat the crap out of a man, identified as Daniel Schuman, when the Clippers player became annoyed by camera flashes, claims TMZ.
According to the alleged victim, Blake grabbed Daniel’s phone and neck. The basketball player then allegedly squeezed Daniel’s neck, demanding he hand over his phone.
Blake has been charged with one count of misdemeanor battery. While he faces six months in prison and/or a $1,000 fine, the NBA player has no prior convictions for violent crimes, TMZ notes, so jail time is unlikely.
No one else was involved in the alleged incident.
We’re not saying this had any effect on the situation, but Blake spent some quality time with Chris Brown and Drake a few months before the alleged brawl. The NBA star, who hosted the 2014 ESPYs, appeared in a skit with Chris and Drake.
It’s no secret that the two music superstars have a violent past — they were both involved in a bottle-throwing incident back in 2012, so it might be a good idea for Blake to keep his distance. We wouldn’t want to see him get involved in anymore brawls.
