Despite their troubles, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott put on a happy face for Dean’s oldest son’s 16th birthday party on the Nov. 11 episode of ‘True Tori.’ The only problem? His son comes with his ex-wife whom he cheated on with Tori…and that’s awkward.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott kick off the episode titled “First Wives Club” with a highly prolific statement: “We are not the Brady bunch.” Even better one-liners were hashed out when Tori came face-to-face with Dean‘s ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace, all in the name of Dean’s first son, Jack. (In case you missed it, Tori is a stepmom.) Read on for the most insane things Tori and Dean actually said this week on True Tori.
‘True Tori’ Recap: Things That Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott Actually Said
“It’s like Alice & Wonderland, but like the rave slash Halloween nighttime version.”
Tori is eager to plan Dean’s son’s 16th birthday party at her home. This sounds super appropriate.
“Being a step-mom is usually a no-win situation.”
Tori wants to be Jack’s party planner, but doesn’t want to ruin being the cool step-mom. So she lets Jack invite 60 teens over to her house, despite Dean’s disagreement.
“I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, and I continue to make a lot of mistakes in my life. It would be really hypocritical of me to come down on him for making a mistake like that.”
Dean compares his 16-year-old son’s “mistake” to his own “mistakes.” (If you’re not keeping track, Jack’s invited too many kids to his birthday party; Dean cheated on two wives.)
“They kind of sit together and hash out old things…and I usually sit there, feeling really awkward.”
Tori ponders, should Dean and Mary Jo get back together?
“My parents, rule wise, were really strict. 18 years old, I was on a hit TV show.”
Tori references her normal childhood.
“I took a kitchen knife with me in my purse.”
Tori makes a bold confession: she showed up to Mary Jo’s home fully armed, one of the first times they met, after she had an affair with Dean.
“She’s kind of the one person I want to talk about the affair with.”
Tori chooses an appropriate ladies’ lunch topic with the woman whose marriage she broke up.
HollywoodLifers, do you think it’s cool that Tori and Mary Jo met up? Or was it going behind Dean’s back? Let us know.
