Superstar and coach, Pharrell, kicked the night off with an outstanding performance of his new single, “Hunter!”
The first contestant to perform from Team Gwen was Ryan Sill. Instead of giving him a boy band song, which was her first instinct, Gwen gave him a song by One Republic called “I Lived.” Ryan really warmed up on stage when he got the audience involved in a sing-along towards the end of the song! The judges had nothing but good comments for Ryan!
Jean Kelley, from Team Pharrell, sang “Piano In The Dark” and totally moved the audience with her emotional performance. There is no denying that the girl can sing! “This is only the beginning for you,” her coach told her!
Another artist from Team Pharrell hit the stage next! Elyjuh Rene sang the hit song “Latch,” which he started off acoustic and ended on a high note with full instrumentals. “It’s unbelievable how good that was…you just became the frontrunner” Adam told Elyjuh after his performance — wow!
Team Gwen’s 17-year-old pop singer, Bryana Salaz, sang “Amnesia” by 5 Seconds of Summer. She said she could relate to the song since it is about somebody leaving and her dad is a member of the military — he was even there to see her sing her heart out and he was crying by the end of her performance! So sweet! Her dad should be so proud because she nailed it up there!
Luke Wade, a contestant from Team Pharrell, sang the soulful song, “Let’s Get It On.” The judges were so impressed with his take on the classic tune — Adam said he “Lukafied” it!

Reggae artist, Anita Antoinette, sang “All About That Bass.” Her coach, Gwen was so proud of her after she rocked on stage. “I love you so much,” Gwen told Ainta!
Pharrell gave his contestant Danica Shirey a difficult song to sing — “Help Me.” Gwen admitted she was scared for Danica to sing that song, but she told her she did an amazing job! Above else, the judges were all so impressed with her vocal ability.
Sugar Jone, who was stolen by Pharrell in the Knockout Rounds, tackled the song, “Say A Little Prayer For You” by Aretha Franklin. “I can’t believe that comes out of you,” Adam said to Sugar after her performance! “That was the best performance of the night,” Blake declared — wow, that must have been amazing to hear!
19- year-old street musician, Ricky Manning, sang a Sam Smith tune, “Lay Me Down.” Not only is he easy on the eyes, he’s got a powerful voice to match! The judges and the audience both loved his emotional performance.
Closing out the show was Gwen’s pop-folk singer, Taylor John. He sang “Stuck In The Middle With You,” and tried to show a lighter side of himself by toning the song down a bit. Adam loved the way he took the upbeat song and tailored it for his unique style. Way to end the night on a high note, Taylor!
