Phaedra is shutting Apollo out once and for all! Even though the ‘RHOA’ star is ‘hurting’ without her husband, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Phaedra has been ignoring Apollo’s phone calls from prison — and with good reason!
Phaedra Parks is one strong lady. Ever since her husband, Apollo Nida, was sentenced to eight years in prison, Phaedra has had to make some hard decisions in her family’s best interests. While Apollo has been repeatedly attempting to contact Phaedra from prison, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has decided to cut ties with her jailbird husband. Here’s why!
Phaedra Parks & Apollo Nida Relationship: She Won’t Accept His Calls From Jail
“Apollo has told her friends, ‘He’s been blowing up my cell and the land line and I’m not accepting any calls. That’s wasting money that I could be putting towards my kids’ college,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
While Phaedra has made the very difficult decision to shut her husband out, we can definitely see her side. She’s a mother first and she clearly wants to protect her children from the emotional drama.
“She’s still hurting but every day she’s getting stronger,”our source continues. “It’s a process. She’ll be just fine.”
We have high hopes that things will only get easier for Phaedra, and time is on her side! Good for her for putting her family first!
Phaedra Parks Leaves Apollo Nida On Day Of His Jail Sentencing
Phaedra also chose not to support Apollo on the day of his sentencing. Once again, the mother of two made the decision with her children in mind.
“It’s the morning of Apollo’s sentencing, and I’ve decided not to be at our house because of the paparazzi and people trying to snap pictures of my children,” Phaedra said in a clip from the RHOA Season 7 premiere.
The upcoming season of RHOA will sure have a lot of drama, and Phaedra reveals that even though it will be hard, she will definitely watch the new season.
