Taylor Swift has absolutely no problem blasting her ex boyfriends in her music, but surprisingly Harry Styles doesn’t mind it. He actually called himself lucky to be written about! Do you agree, HollywoodLifers?
Taylor Swift‘s, 24, latest album, 1989, featured some lyrics that totally seem like they were about One direction’s Harry Styles, 20. “Out Of The Woods,” in particular, had some serious Harry references, but he told his fans he’s honored by it!
Harry Styles Feels Lucky Taylor Swift Writes About Him
Taylor threw major shade at Harry when she said that she’s had nothing but lousy boyfriends, so you’d think that he would have hard feelings towards her. It actually seems like its quite the opposite! In a a Google Hangout with fans on November 9, director, Ben Winston asked Harry what it’s like to be sung about.
Surprisingly, Harry is totally cool about it:
“We write from personal experience, and I think everyone does, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like, ‘Oh you can’t write about us,’” he said. “And they’re really good. They’re good songs. So I’m really lucky in that sense.”
Harry Styles: ‘I’m Really Lucky’
We’re glad Harry has such a positive attitude about the whole thing, because Taylor’s lyrics were so obvious! In one part she sang,“Last December, we were built to fall apart,” when everyone knows that they started dating in December of 2012!
She even referred to Henry’s signature airplane necklace that she used to wear: “Your necklace hanging from my neck…..Two paper airplanes flying, flying…”
It doesn’t get much more apparent than that, but we think it’s awesome that Harry handled the situation with such class!
