Looks like ‘Selfie’ won’t live to take another selfie. The cult comedy was cancelled just as it was getting into its groove and fans are flipping out about it.

Selfie, we hardly knew ye. Fans of the new comedy series never expected the show, starring Karen Gillan and John Cho, to get the axe so soon. So, when ABC announced they were canceling Selfie on Nov. 7, fans rightfully freaked out and became desperate to save their favorite new show.

‘Selfie’ Cancelled: Fans React To Show Ending

After just six episodes, Selfie’s run has come to an end, our sister site TVLine confirmed. Needless to say, the show’s biggest fans were not happy about the news and sounded off about it on Twitter.

There’s no word yet on whether all of Selfie’s remaining episodes will have the opportunity to air. While the show wasn’t received highly by TV critics, Selfie picked up a strong fan following.

Fall TV: More New Shows Cancelled

Selfie wasn’t the first new TV show of the year to get cancelled. The quirky comedy Manhattan Love Story was cut shortly before the show. FOX’s new reality show Utopia was also given the boot.

It’s never a good feeling when your favorite TV show is cancelled.

Selfie will join the ranks of shows like Firefly, Jericho, Pushing Daisies and more that were cancelled too soon.

However, if fans of Veronica Mars and Heroes have taught us anything, it’s that shows can always be revived! Let’s hope Eliza will get the opportunity to take another “selfie.”

HollywoodLifers, are you sad to see Selfie go? Let us know!
