‘All About That Bass’ is getting an intergalactic twist! Meghan Trainor’s hit song was transformed into a hilarious ‘Star Wars’ parody! Click to WATCH!
Who knew that “All About That Bass” could fit so well within the Star Wars galaxy? Nerdist took Meghan Trainor’s catchy tune and created one of the best parodies we’ve seen in a long time! Grab your lightsabers and get ready for “All About That Base: No Rebels!”
‘All About That Bass’: ‘Star Wars’ Parody Is Out Of This World
“I’m about all about that base, ’bout that base, no rebels,” the parody’s music video began.
Commence cheerleaders wearing outfits with Vader across the top. Go Vader?
The video managed to get all our favorite Star Wars characters to make a cameo appearance. There was even a lightsaber fight! Although, Yoda was shockingly left out.
Nerdist effortlessly changed the lyrics to Meghan’s song into a funny hit. “I help the emperor after Darth Maul got stopped,” the song continued. “We know that Sith ain’t real ’cause even I got chopped.”
All the girls in the music video were dressed in sexy Darth Vader outfits throughout the video. Dancing Stormtroopers also accompanied them!
The best part of the video was when the Darth Vader group referenced “Jedi b***hes.” Too funny!
“I’m Luke & Leia’s dad, but I’m hear to tell ya every inch of me is robot from the bottom to the top,” the Darth Vader cheerleaders sang.
While Star Wars: The Force Awakens doesn’t hit theaters until 2015, this was the perfect treat to hold us over until a photo, trailer or something Star Wars related!
