Disney also unveiled the amazing new principal art for the movie in its tweet — so cool! Unfortunately we still don’t know much about the plot, but MakingStarWars.net, a site dedicated to all things related to the Force-filled galaxy, may have some answers for us! The site reports that the villain will be someone super unexpected — former hero Luke Skywalker! Sources connected to the film tell the site that Luke becomes the most powerful Jedi ever but he doesn’t really know how to deal with it.
“He doesn’t believe he’s the wisest. He doesn’t want to make the mistake his father made by thinking he knows what’s right for the universe. Skywalker becomes somewhat deranged in his seclusion. He is consumed by his fear that if he should return to “society” his power could be misused, he could be manipulated, and he may accidentally hurt the one’s he loves.”
The Darkest Star Wars Film To Date?
The fallen Jedi then reportedly banishes himself into an exile, where he begins to lose sight of what’s real, spiraling into a state of insanity! Luke slowly begins to enter a dark state of mind, which only helps the evilness within him grow. We know this sounds crazy intense but there’s more! Apparently, Luke’s appearance is going to mirror his distress, making him look super scary!
“Luke Skywalker is described as “creepy and frightening in appearance” because you supposedly can see “the fire in his eyes” behind his grizzled appearance during some scenes.
Guess we’ll see it all go down on Dec. 18, 2015! Let us know what YOU think about the movie’s new title and logo, HollywoodLifers!
