In a new interview, Nick Cannon reveals that he is mostly concerned about how his children, twins Monroe and Moroccan, will be affected by his divorce from their mother, Mariah Carey.
Nick Cannon, 34, has opened up about how he is doing after his split from Mariah Carey, 44. During a recent interview, the father of two shared that his children, Monroe and Moroccan Cannon, twins aged 3 years old, are too young to understand that their family is changing. So sad.
Nick Cannon Reveals How Monroe & Moroccan Are Coping With Divorce
Aw, this is heartbreaking to read.
For the first time, Nick openly discussed how his two small children have been affected by his split from Mariah, his wife of 6 years.
The actor shared that his twins, Monroe and Moroccan, are simply too young to notice that things are different between him and their mother.
They just love mommy and daddy so there is nothing different for them,” he told MSN’s Wonderwall in an interview.
Nick also revealed that he is more concerned with how his twins will be affected by the split more than anyone else, including himself. So sad.
Nick Will Prioritize His Children Over Dating Again
In the same interview, Nick was asked whether or not he was ready to get back on the dating horse. While he remains “off the market,” he revealed that he has better things to prioritize over putting his love life back together.
“I’m trying to slow it down and stay focused. Family is the first thing and my kids, obviously the dating thing will come down the line.”
Thankfully, Nick is “busier” than he ever has been before — and he wants to strike while the fire is hot. This keeps him from getting distracted by new women, and allows him to keep his children and his career a main focus.
