Welcome back, Savannah! Just three months after welcoming her daughter, Vale into the world, the ‘Today Show’ co-anchor has returned to the news desk full-time. Exciting!
Savannah Guthrie, 42, is ready to get back to work. On Nov. 3, the first-time mom made her first full-time appearance on the Today Show since taking her maternity leave just 12 weeks earlier. Her daughter, Vale Feldman, will now be able to watch her mommy on television for the first few hours of each morning.
Savannah Guthrie Returns To ‘Today Show’ After Baby Vale’s Birth
Nov. 3 sure was an exciting moment for the Today Show!
Savannah, one of their own co-anchors, finally returned to the news desk to resume her full-time position on the morning show.
“Hooray!!! Reunited!” Savannah captioned a photo of herself and her co-anchor, Natalie Morales, after they took a selfie together in the news studio.
Although Savannah has appeared on the show a handful of times with Vale and her husband, Michael Feldman, this was her first-time back as a co-host and not just a guest.
Even though she was thrilled to be back at work, Savannah admitted that leaving Vale at home felt like her heart was “outside” of her body. Aw!
Don’t worry, Savannah — we’re sure seeing Vale light up with excitement when you get home from work each day will be worth it!
