Dylan McDermott & Maggie Q: ‘Stalker Co-Stars’ Dating
Hot new couple alert! Well, maybe not so new…
Before Dylan and Maggie were spotted on a romantic dinner date together, HollywoodLife.com spoke with the actors together, back in May 2014 at the CBS upfront, and they were giggling, smiling and quite flirty with each other.
When we asked Dylan why Stalker is the best show of the new season, he simply had one reason: “Maggie Q.”
He also told HollywoodLife.com that executive producer Kevin Williamson drew him to the series because of his huge success on TV, but added that Maggie attracted him to the project, and made his decision to sign on easy. “And then Maggie…with her, it makes it an easy ‘yes.'”
The couple was reportedly spotted on a romantic dinner date in Santa Barbara, Calif. at Italian restaurant Olio e Limone on Oct. 25, according to US Weekly. The magazine reports they opted to sit next to each other, rather than across, after waiting outside for their table to be ready.
“They were very flirty, smiling at each other, canoodling,” their source says. “At one point she was feeding him at the table.”
Maggie and Dylan — who has two daughters with his ex-wife Shiva Rose — were also spotted shopping together in Brentwood, Calif. in September.
Maggie Q Smitten By Dylan McDermott’s Good Looks — Interview
Maggie and Dylan fight crime together on Stalker, and Maggie actually plays Dylan’s boss in their unit. However, Maggie admits that he tries to throw her off with — she admits — his good looks!
“She’s a very, very no nonsense sort of boss…and so, when he comes, he’s very smooth, he’s very fun in the show, he’s very charming, he’s obviously very handsome, and so, I think his whole schtick has always worked with women,” Maggie told HollywoodLife.com. “He’s always been around them and there’s been that sort of magic really quickly. With her, there’s no breaking through that wall because with her, it’s all about business so their relationship is interesting because of that. He’s trying to find a crack and he’s just not kind of getting it — it’s not because she wants to hate him.”
Dylan objected to not winning over Maggie’s character: “But I’ll get there!”
While Maggie won’t be using her martial arts skills, seen in Nikita, Dylan said that she does “kick some ass,” and Maggie interjected, warning him that she’ll bring out her moves, if he misbehaves. “I’m going to do that off camera when Dylan messes up.”
Sounds like some serious flirting on set, if you ask us!
