So this is why you’re not supposed to date your boss! On the Oct. 28 episode of ‘Chicago Fire,’ Casey will have to step up and put Casey, his fiancée, in her place! Talk about awkward.
Lieutenant Casey (Jesse Spencer) may be an easygoing husband-to-be to Dawson (Monica Raymund) but that doesn’t mean she’s going to have it easy when at work. In a new Chicago Fire sneak peek, we see 51 arrive at a fire and when Dawson runs off, Casey is forced to do his job as her superior. Watch!
‘Chicago Fire’: Casey & Dawson Fight At Work
Upon arrival, Casey yells out orders — “Herrmann, Dawson, stairs, prep for forced entry.” However, Dawson then goes over, grabs her equipment and runs to the building before Herrmann is ready.
To that, Casey responds with, “Dawson, ‘on his hip’ means ‘on his hip,’ not ahead of him!” Of course she replies, “Understood,” like a good candidate.
Can Casey & Dawson Stay Together & Work Together?
Clearly, he’s just looking out for her as a candidate and as the love of his life, but is it getting to be too much? Are the lines becoming too blurred?
Both Casey and Dawson assured to Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) that they could maintain a strictly professional relationship at work — but will it come in the way of their at-home mushiness? I’m guessing, yes.
Do you think they should keep working together and try to make their relationship work? Do you think they should call it quits? Maybe she should go to another firehouse? Let me know!
