Teresa and Joe have very little to celebrate this year. Nevertheless, the ‘RHONJ’ couple honored their 15th wedding anniversary with a special dinner date on Oct. 25, and Teresa even shared a picture of the bittersweet milestone on Instagram!
Teresa Giudice, 42, is making the most of her last few months as a free woman before she heads to the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn. on Jan. 5, 2014. The reality star appears to be squeezing in as much romance as possible with the “love of her life,” husband Joe Guidice, 42, before she begins serving her 15-month jail sentence for fraud.
Teresa Giudice & Joe Giudice’s Wedding Anniversary: Their Bittersweet Date Before Jail
Although the RHONJ linchpin and Joe — who pleaded guilty to 41 counts of bank, mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud — have a lot on their plate right now, they still honored their 15 years of marriage on Oct. 25, two days after their official wedding anniversary.
Teresa took to her Instagram to share a picture of herself and her hubby cozied up at dinner, looking happy and madly in love, despite their unfortunate fates. Teresa captioned the photo: “Celebrated our 15 yr Anniversary 10/23/99 With the Love of my Life”.
We were surprised to see Teresa at a fancy dinner with Joe, especially since she still needs to pay off a hefty $414,588 in restitution, according to the UK’s Daily Mail. Then again, we also understand why she wants to enjoy her freedom and her family while she can.
Some aspects of this white linen dinner do seem different, though. While Teresa typically sports sparkly dresses and a voluminous, manicured mane, she appears to have opted for a more low-key look this time.
The mom of four is sporting a slicked-back ponytail and showing off her spiritual style by wearing an evil eye necklace. The ancient symbol commonly signifies protection against evil, so hopefully it will serve Teresa well in jail.
Teresa Giudice Will Serve Her 15-Month Sentence At ‘OITNB’ Prison
In a bizarre twist of reality TV imitating art, Teresa will do her time at the prison that served as the inspiration for Netflix’s hit series Orange Is the New Black.
The Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury is the very same place that Piper Kerman, writer of Orange Is the New Black: My Year In Prison, served her sentence for money laundering.
Based on the popular show’s portrayal of the all-female prison, Teresa will undoubtably be sleeping with one eye open.
Luckily, she will be able to see daughters Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5, during visits while their dad, Joe, holds down the fort. Until then, the convicted couple seem to be enjoying their last moments as a normal family.
HollywoodLifers, what do YOU think? Should Teresa and Joe be keeping more of a low profile or are you glad to see them celebrating their anniversary on Instagram? Let us know!
