It looks like Victoria Grayson is not the only one who has it out for Emily Thorne! On the Oct. 26, episode of ‘Revenge’ Margaux LeMarchal and Victoria join forces to keep David Clarke in the dark.
David Clarke (James Tupper) may be back home and living next to Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp), but he still has no idea who is telling him the truth! On the Oct. 26, episode of Revenge, Victoria Grayson’s (Madeleine Stowe) grip on David tightens as she joins forces with Margaux LeMarchal (Karine Vanasse) to make sure that Emily stays far away from her father!
‘Revenge’ Recap — David Clarke Questions Victoria’s Motives
So upsetting. At the very beginning of the episode, David and Victoria go to visit Amanda Clarke’s grave in D.C so David can have some closure and see for himself that the woman who he believes is his daughter, is dead.
Meanwhile, Emily is definitely upset and is doing an intense workout while talking to Nolan about the manipulation that Victoria is doing to David. Even Jack is being hounded by the press, who want to know when Jack (Nick Wechsler) will introduce David to his grandson — we cannot imagine that that reunion will be happening soon!
While David and Victoria are getting out of a car to enter into their hotel, a mystery vehicle nearly runs over David! Luckily, Victoria screams just in time and David is able to jump out-of-the-way just in time. After the accident Victoria wanted to take David to Maine, but David is not interested. “All these stories about Amanda just don’t seem to make sense,” David said. “I’m going to find out what happened to my girl.”
Meanwhile, Daniel (Joshua Bowman) and Margaux’s relationship continues to be doing well, but she does tell Daniel to do whatever will make his client Louise happy. He tells her, “you want my moms attention, date me.” Since that’s what Louise wants — we are sure she will make that happen! Especially when he tells her that he is single.
Emily is so desperate to meet David and get him away from Victoria that she goes to someone who has not been on her side — Charlotte! “We have to stop her,” Emily begged. “Please. I just want to tell him the truth.”
While Victoria may be guilty of doing a lot of terrible things, she tells Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) that she was not behind the attack that almost killed David. Poor Charlotte is definitely being pulled in two directions after Victoria told her that Emily is just brain washing her.
Poor Jack. He just can’t seem to catch a break. Although he said that he didn’t want David to meet his son, Carl, Charlotte brings David anyway.
David Clarke Meets And Questions Nolan
While Charlotte and David are visiting Jack, Emily is visiting with Victoria. Clearly the queen of the Hamptons is not afraid of Emily. “You’re plan was perfect Emily except for one thing. You’re fathers alive.” Victoria is not the only one firing shots. Emily tells her that she is a, “A frightened woman about to lose the last person she could ever trick into loving her to her daughter.”
David then pays Nolan (Gabriel Mann) a visit where he questions if Nolan gave Amanda the money and box filled with journals that he left her. Nolan tells David to not trust what is being said and David says, “She is slipping away from me, and that scares that hell out of me.”
Finally David sticks up for himself and asks the police go away, he also reveals that he knows that, “something is not right here.” Daniel then enters the room and apologizes to all that Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny) did to David and to bestow him with the deed to his beach house.
He then travels to the house with Victoria and Daniel along with Margaux who was there to cover the story. Emily then learns that she cannot trust Margaux and Daniel and gives them the couple nickname of, “trouble.”
Back at his hotel, Daniel dumps Louise who then goes crazy in the elevator and starts punching the walls before calling Page Six and revealing that she has a story to tell them — sounds like Daniel’s plans to stay out of the headlines are not going to work.
Meanwhile, David is definitely having a hard time sorting through his thoughts, especially not that he is back at his old beach house and memories of his daughter are coming back. Nolan, Jack and Emily toast to David and she reveals that she will tell him the truth, “when he is ready.”
She then hears him playing a song that used to dance to when she was younger. Looks like David is slowly coming around now that he is back home.
