So sad. Marcia Strassman, who starred in a number of films including ‘Honey, I Shrunk The Kids,’ passed away on Oct. 25 after battling breast cancer. She was 66.
Actress Marcia Strassman has died at the age of 66 after a seven year battle with breast cancer. Marcia was best known for her roles on the TV show, Welcome Back Kotter, and the 1989 movie, Honey, I Shrunk The Kids.

Marcia’s sister confirmed her sister’s death, Deadline reports. The actress had be fighting a 7 year battle with breast cancer. She died at her home in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
Marcia had a long career in both television and movies. She was well-known for her role on Welcome Back Kotter and Honey I Shrunk The Kids.
She also appeared on Third Watch, Tremors and Noah Knows Best. She most recently starred in the TV movie, Looking For Mr. Right.
“She was the funniest, smartest person I ever met,” Marcia’s sister, Julie Strassman, said.. “And talented. She knew everything. Now I won’t be able to call her and ask her questions.”
Celebs including Cher, Dana Delany and Marg Helgenberger tweeted their condolences.
Marcia is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Collector.
