Just two months after her father, Robin Williams, took his own life, Zelda Williams had a touching tribute inked to her right hand. Click inside to see the tattoo!
Zelda Williams, 25, is honoring her father in a truly beautiful way. In a new post on Instagram, the daughter of the late Robin Williams revealed a tribute tattoo that will make her “smile” every time she shakes someone’s hand.
Robin Williams’ Daughter Zelda Gets Tribute Tattoo
This definitely brought a smile to our faces.
On Oct. 22, Robin’s only daughter, Zelda, shared a photo of a brand-new tattoo on her right hand. The beautiful new tattoo is strategically placed just underneath her thumb and stretches down to her wrist.
Underneath the bird, which appears to be a hummingbird, you can see that Zelda also has her father’s birthday, “7-21-51,” inked on her wrist.
“For poppo,” Zelda captioned the photo. The caption also thanks the artist who gave her the tattoo, apparently at the famed Shamrock Social Club in Los Angeles, Calif.
“I’ll always put my hand out to shake with a smile.”
Wonderfully said, Zelda.
Zelda May Be Giving Up Using Her Instagram
Since her father’s death in Aug. 2014, Zelda has gone back-and-forth with whether or not to continue using her social media accounts.
In the caption of the photo of her tattoo, Robin’s daughter revealed that she may not be using her Instagram account much more after sharing the tribute tattoo.
“As for this Instagram, I don’t know in what capacity I’ll continue using it in the future, but I’m leaving it up regardless so that fake accounts hoping to use my name or misuse my family’s photos will get no traction,” she wrote.
Hopefully Zelda can find peace and resume using her social media accounts so that her many friends and followers can stay in touch.
