The actress looked just like a ballerina as she captivated the red carpet in a teeny, tiny feathered dress that looked fit for the stage! Her look instantly reminded us of ‘Black Swan’ — did you love it or did you think the hemline was way too daring?
Olivia Munn really channeled the theme of the ballet when she arrived at the American Ballet Theatre 2014 Opening Night Fall Gala, ‘Scarlett, Red, White & Blue,’ at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in NYC on Oct. 22, where the 34-year-old actress opted for a tiny feathered dress. Was it seriously chic or did it look too much like a costume for your liking?
Olivia Munn’s ‘Black Swan’ Dress — American Ballet Theatre Opening Night Fall Gala:
From the thigh-grazing hemline to the way the skirt fanned out around her hips and the feathers, this look screamed Black Swan to me — and hey, there’s no denying the fact that Olivia has the toned legs to pull it off. For the glam evening she opted for a Lanvin Fall 2014 feathered frock — but if it looks different than the runway version that’s because she raised the below-the-knee hemline far up, making it a teeny tiny mini!
She stayed true to the ballerina theme by wearing her hair back in a high bun. She played up the flirty feel of the frock by pairing it with a bubblegum pink lip and a polka dot clutch, which she accessorized with Piaget earrings and a Piaget ring.
Olivia’s look was playful, flirty and fun — and quite leggy! While normally a hemline this short on the red carpet would raise eyebrows, since the star stuck to the theme of the night I can’t blame her for taking a fun, flirty risk — do you agree?
