Kate Middleton’s Makeup At Addiction Charity Dinner — Stunning & Glowing
Kate always looks radiant and her pregnancy glow is helping her look ever better! Her makeup was age and event appropriate — she looked amazing.
Kate always manages to look so healthy, thanks in part, I think, to her ever present blush. It gives her a flush and glow to ensure she always looks happy and healthy.
We love CHANEL JOUES CONTRASTE POWDER BLUSH to get a similar look to Kate.
Kate Middleton’s Hair In London
As usual, Kate’s hair was shiny and bouncy — just stunning.
Here are some expert tips on creating your own “Buckingham” blowout from Mirian Lima, Master Stylist at Dop Dop Salon in New York City:
“Step 1: If you have fine hair — Rough-dry
Use fingers to let out some moisture using the dryer on medium heat. For added volume, flip hair over and blow-dry from the bottom to the top.
**For coarse hair, it is best to go from wet to dry to eliminate frizz and get a smoother and softer result.
Step 2: Section hair
Section hair into 4 large sections then divide each into smaller sections and clip away so you can focus on small areas at a time to eliminate the amount of heat on the hair strand.
Step 3: Blow dry
Starting at the back of hair, use a mixed-bristle round brush and always blow-dry with the nozzle pointing downwards, towards the floor, to help seal the cuticle, lock in shine and prevent frizz. For the top portion of the hair, take a section in a Mohawk shape and blow dry in a forward and backward motion to give hair lift and volume.
**Stylist tip: Your brush will tell you if you hair is done. If the brush glides smoothly through your hair then your hair is ready. If the brush gets stuck, keep drying the sections that are not yet smooth.
Step 4: Finishing
Apply nourishing oil to the ends of hair for shine, discipline and smoothness.
Use a regular hold working spray to make the blow dry last.Spray once blow dry is done and again if sleeping on the hair.
Step 5: Make it last for days
Fine hair: Pull hair up into a very lose ponytail and create a pin curl on the top to give volume.
Curly or frizz-prone hair: Use a silk wrap to prevent frizz and keep hair smooth and shiny.
For all hair types: Sleep with hair above head, pulled into a lose ponytail and spray your favorite strong hold hairspray before going to sleep.”
