Is the sixth season of ‘Teen Mom 2’ in grave danger? A new report claims that Leah Messer’s issues are so out of hand, MTV had to push their next season back.
Will we see a sixth season of Teen Mom 2? Not until Leah Messer, 22, gets her life back together, claims a new report.
‘Teen Mom 2’s Sixth Season Delayed: Leah Messer’s Issues In The Way
Yikes. This definitely is not good news for the TM2 cast and crew.
According to The Ashley, author of “Teen Mom Confidential,” a sixth season of the hit reality docu-series has been delayed because of Leah’s ongoing troubles right now.
“Currently, the ‘Teen Mom 2′ girls and their beaus are all signed up for Season 6…everyone except Leah and Jeremy [Calvert], that is,” the reality show guru revealed.
It is also unclear whether or not Leah’s ex, Corey Simms, has signed on for season six.
As you know, Leah and Corey are currently at the center of a vicious custody battle over their twins, Ali and Alleeah.
On top of that drama, Leah’s current husband, Jeremy Calvert, accused the mother of 3 of cheating on him in a brutal Twitter rant on Fri., Oct. 17.
When HollywoodLife.com reached out to MTV for a statement about season 6 being delayed, they had ” no comment.”
Hopefully, MTV is just trying to cut Leah and break and let her life get sorted out before cameras start rolling again. Either that, or things are much worse for Leah behind-the-scenes than anyone realizes.
Leah Being Accused Of Drug Use
To add to Leah’s personal problems, InTouch Weekly dropped a major bombshell in their Nov. 3 issue by accusing the Teen Mom star of abusing prescription drugs.
The magazine refers to a source as her “drug dealer,” who allegedly claims that Leah is taking painkillers such as Vicodin, Lortab, Percocet, and Oxycodone.
During season 5 of the docu-series, Leah was prescribed anxiety medication by a doctor, but it made her extremely drowsy and throughout one episode she repeatedly nodded off in the middle of conversations because of the medication.
Since then, Leah has claimed that she no longer takes the anti-anxiety medication — or anything else, for that matter.
