Taylor Swift, 24, is the best! The “Shake It Off” singer is making her debut on The Voice on Oct. 27, where she will act as a mega-mentor and give advice to all four coaches’ teams! On Oct. 22, a new promo video was released where Taylor jokingly says, “I’m known for my dancing.”
Taylor Swift ‘The Voice’ Judge — New Promo Clip
Taylor looks like she is having a blast acting as a mentor. In the cute promo, Taylor takes a seat and is immediately confused because she doesn’t see any cameras. She says, “Are we on camera now? Where are they? This is terrifying, do you guys have drones?”
She then appears with each of the judges. Blake Shelton says, “I’m known for my sweetness,” then Taylor says while laughing, “I’m known for my dancing.”
One contestant asks the stunning singer and judge Gwen Stefani if they can do, “a collab.” Both ladies look at each other with extremely confused looks on their faces, but once they realize he means collaboration, Taylor cannot control her laughter!
One contestant feels that Taylor is the perfect partner for Pharrell Williams. He tells them, “you guys are both so charming, if you get too close you are going to create a vortex. Like a singularity of charm.” Taylor looks at him with a sarcastic face and says, “You’re charming!”
Finally Blake has to poke a little fun at the singer. He asks her, “How come when you refer to crazy girls, you never throw yourself in that category?” Taylor responds, “I just feel like it’s assumed and understood.”
So funny! Clearly she has great chemistry and fits right in with all of the judges.
Taylor Swift: Focusing On Her Music
Taylor is definitely focusing on her music, especially with her upcoming album, “1989” set to be released on Oct. 27. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the stunning singer opened up in the November issue of Esquire about why she is happy to be single.
“I never thought I would be so happy being completely unattached to anyone romantically,” she told the publication. “I think it’s healthy for everyone to go a few years without dating, just because you need to get to know who you are. And I’ve done more thinking and examining and figuring out how to cope with things on my own than I would have if I had been focusing on someone else’s emotions and someone else’s schedule,” she says. “It’s been really good.”
