Oscar de la Renta Dead — Legendary Fashion Designer Dies At 82
Oscar, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, grew to fame in the 1960s when first lady Jackie Kennedy would often wear his designs. He began dressing other first ladies as well, including Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton, and Laura Bush.
Oscar’s designs also popped up on the red carpet frequently. From Cameron Diaz to Jessica Chastain, and Kristen Stewart to Penelope Cruz, many women of different styles appreciated his one-of-a-kind designs and admired his work.
Oscar was married to Annette Engelhard since 1989, and together they adopted son Moises de la Renta.
