Rock ‘n’ roll music is practically the sound of America, but we’ve never heard it like this before! The Ohio State University marching band paid tribute to the genre with an awesome halftime performance on Oct. 18 that will blow your mind with classic rock goodness.

Ohio State University Marching Band’s Halftime Performance

Football halftime is usually your chance to take a bathroom break or hit the concession stand, but not at OSU! During halftime of the game between Ohio State and Rutgers University, OSU’s amazing marching band wowed the crowd with an epic performance that paid tribute to rock ‘n’ roll.

Seriously, you will be stunned.

The 9-minute medley included hits like Van Halen’s “Jump” and The Rolling Stones’ “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.” What truly amazed us was the insane choreography during the performance!

They somehow managed to form a drummer, the famous Stones’ tongue, and they even formed a guitarist that literally smashed the field!

Our favorite formation has to be the walking Frankenstein in honor of The Edgar Winter Group’s hit “Frankenstein.” It’s unreal and totally cool!

Now this is how you do homecoming! Take notes, every college in America.

It was truly OSU’s day because the football team went on to win over Rutgers 56-17. Way to go, Ohio State!

What do you think about Ohio State University’s tribute to rock and roll, HollywoodLifers? Pretty breathtaking, right? Comment below and let us know what you think!
