Snoop Dogg has officially gone too far in his social media feud with Iggy Azalea. He called the ‘Fancy’ singer the C-word on Instagram, just because Iggy decided to defend herself after he cruelly mocked her!
Rapper Snoop Dogg may be 42 years old with a young teen daughter, but you wouldn’t know it by his recent behavior on social media. Acting like a cyberbullying teen whose parents are in the middle of a divorce, Snoop lashed out at Iggy Azalea, 24, once again after making fun of her looks. Not only did he call her the C-word (yes, that c-word), he took shots at her for the rumors that she doesn’t write her own music.
Snoop Dogg & Iggy Azalea: Feud Continues After Rapper Calls Her The C-Word
Snoop — we know that you have ways to make yourself chill. Maybe explore those avenues.
His Instagram is nigh incomprehensible, but late on Oct. 14 Snoop posted a series of pics slamming Iggy for no real reason that we can discern. On a photo of Nicki Minaj sitting alone with “Nicki sitting with other female rappers” written on, Snoop captioned: “Where is Iggy ? Nowhere insight. @realnickiminaj_ F*** the fake n non writers yeah that means u again b**** !! Go nikki go Hoe Iggy hoe !! Sweet dreams c***.”
In several photos, he cruelly compares her to Shawn and Marlon Wayans‘ characters in White Chicks. Hours prior to calling Iggy the C-word, he actually said he’d leave her alone! (Not without calling her a b****, of course.)
Iggy has responded to Snoop’s attacks on Twitter, but has decided to rise above. Here’s what she had to say late on Oct. 14 (tweets pasted together for clarity):
“I could post a million more memes about snoop dogg making fun of the way he looks too, thats easy.
“But the real joke here is the middle aged man whos butt hurt i asked why he was pulling a Regina George move on social media.
“If I’m a b**** for asking why you are supportive to my face but another way on your Instagram then so be it.
“post away about this “b****” I’ve seen all the memes the word has to offer in regards to me i honestly don’t care. and its a shame because honestly everyone on my team myself included have only ever sung his praises. but there you have it.
“personally i only shake hands & offer my support to those i actually like & i don’t post shit about others for attention to begin with.
“anyhow guys, lots of love to you all. just got home from watching gone girl – strange ending. but interesting. ima be the bigger man in this situation and leave it be.
“its like the guy that asks for your number and then says you ugly and a b**** when you say no…”
She’s not wrong — Snoop only launched this vicious attack after Iggy defended herself earlier that day for his rude Instagram post.
Iggy Azalea: ‘I’m Disappointed You’d Be Such An Ass For No Reason’
Iggy has since deleted the tweets, but here’s what she had to say about Snoop’s first attack:
“@snoopdogg why would you post such a mean pic on insta when you send your body guards to ask me for pictures every time we are at shows together? My bodyguard stopped the fire truck that saved your friends life in canada when he almost burnt down the hotel.
“And everytime I’ve spoken to you, you’ve always been nice as hell. I’m disappointed you’d be such an ass for no reason.”
It’s all fine and well to dislike an artist’s music; Rah Digga recently spoke out against Iggy for her musical appropriation of Southern black culture, and that’s a fair criticism. However, to call a woman vicious names and to threaten her with violence is pushing it way too far. Snoop posted a photo of himself holding a gun, captioning the pic: “Keep talking b****.” Seriously. Is that a proportionate response?
HollywoodLifers, what do you think? Has Snoop gone way too far? Why is he so obsessed with her?!
