‘Chrisley Knows Best’: Savannah Asks Todd If She Can Go On A Date
Todd Chrisley sat down with HollywoodLife.com at an intimate breakfast, before the Season 2 premiere of his hilariously warm reality series, Chrisley Knows Best, and he told us all about his daughter Savannah wanting to date. Let’s just say, he’s not pleased. Especially because the boy she wants to date is three years older than her!
In this sneak peek clip (above), Savannah sits her parents down for the talk.
“Spencer is coming into town. Would you mind if I went to dinner with Spencer?” Savannah asks about going out with a heartthrob musician.
“For 16 years, I’ve dreaded this moment, Todd says, declining his daughter’s request. “He’s 19 and you’re 16…it’s a huge difference from a man to a young lady.”
Julie isn’t in agreement with her dapper husband, who showed up to our press breakfast in a perfectly-fitted blazer — she tells him to give it up already. His rebuttal? “I’m not worried about me giving it up!”
(And just like that, we’ve been gifted with Todd’s first great one-liner of the season.)
Granny Crashes Savannah’s Date
Chase, 17, isn’t a fan of Savannah dating either. “It’s illegal,” he says, to which his sister replies, “16 is a consensual age in some states!”
Despite all the family backlash, Savannah does have a fan — her grandma! You’ll have to tune in to see what really happens, but we’ll let you know that she crashes the date!
Chrisley Knows Best returns with two back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, Oct. 14 (10/9c) on USA! Will you be watching, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
